Turn your hobby into a profession in the WSP Professional Photography Program -- the perfect place to jump start your second career or part time self-employment! The Professional Photography Program is a year-long vocational education series designed for individuals interested in turning their interest in photography into a second job or a full time career. Join us for a preview of the WSP Professional Photography Program 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 27th. Attendance at a Program Preview session substitutes as an in-person interview. The next series of evening Program classes begins Monday, September 9th, with classes runing Mondays and Tuesdays, 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM. On September 7, WSP will begin for the first time to hold Professional Photography Program Saturday classes. Courses will be held in tandem, 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM. You'll begin with the very Fundamentals of Photography on Tuesdays, paired with Composition and Design Techniques on Thursdays. You'll finish the year with final portfolio and web site production. Along the way, you'll also learn about business practices, portraiture, digital workflow and Photoshop, just to name a few. Class size is limited to 16 students, allowing for personalized instruction throughout the year. An in-person interview is required before enrollment.
